So things have been pretty darn hectic the last few weeks, mainly for the wrong reasons however at the beginning of this week, I received a small package from the gang at Timesulin.

Myself and the team at Timesulin, namely John (Head Man)  and his wife Susan (PR Wizard)  have been in communication since late summer.  They have developed a simple device to help people who are injecting Insulin via Pens remember when the last injection was taken. Simple as that!

I won’t go into specifics as I will merely complicate matters, however if like me, you use Insulin Pens I would suggest going on over to the Timesulin website, find out a little more about how Timesulin can help you, like it is helping me and remember to reach out to the team there!

I can categorically say that it has been beneficial to my Diabetes care even in such a short space of time.  I am now logging my “Diabetes Life” Old Skool on a piece of A4 paper.  This is for the Pump Team who will in 30 days time hopefully confirm that they will accept me in to the Pump program or at least put me out of my misery and resign myself to endless misery and despair! :)

So far I am finding it very useful to keep track of the day especially when the days go hectic, but feel it helps give me an idea on how much insulin is still in my system, therefore preventing rage bolus when things get tricky.  It is really easy to lose track and I am more than hopeful that the Timesulin caps will prove to be a valuable tool to help me stay on track.

Once again, I would like to say thank you to Susan at Timesulin for sending some over.  Note that neither John or Susan at Timesulin asked me to write about the pens, nor did they compensate me in any way.

So until next time, saludos!
