It’s that time of the year to remember that proper hygiene can prevent us from getting sick, though that’s an important message at all times. To that end, Sinai Hospital created an infographic highlighting the four main ways germs like viruses, bacteria and other harmful organisms can enter the body. Proper hand hygiene is the most important thing you can do to prevent infection, says Jackie Daley, Sinai’s director of Infection Prevention and Control and head of the hospital’s Hand Hygiene Collaborative.
