Making Patient Experience a Priority

Beryl Health has a new video with some great stats that demonstrate why Tower does what it does.  But more importantly, it is a great example of conveying information in a manner that is easy for the audience to understand.  There is some text, but the graphics help re-enforce the points.  It is an example of how we healthcare professionals need to put away the text-heavy educational materials and apply social media to help convey important messages to our patients.

This presentation also brings in the role of technology into the patient experience conversation.  The Beryl Instutute included Technology Application —  understanding the range of technology that can influence patient experience and how to integrate into experience efforts – as one of the domains in their Body of Knowledge.

Tower contributed to the comprehensive knowledge base by participating on the technology workgroup to outline the central content for a learning module offering ongoing professional development.  The module, when completed, will help patient experience and other healthcare leaders keep up with the rapid evolution of technologies that can be applied as solutions, such as this video.
