It would be almost impossible to answer these and many other questions without medical statistics and its specialists. They help test hypotheses, combine data from several studies, conduct meta-analysis, and also help establish correlation and causation of research results. And this is only a small part of the scope of their activities.

We had a detailed conversation about the state of modern medical statistics, its significance, as well as about the issues and important studies of cerebral palsy with Ulzhan Tolyshbay, who is an outstanding specialist in the field of medical statistics, whose contribution to the study of cerebral palsy (CP) has a significant impact on the healthcare field.

Ulzhan Tolyshbay

Ulzhan Tolyshbai studied at the Kazakh National Medical University. She completed her master’s degree with an emphasis on a scientific and pedagogical approach. During her studies, she proved herself to be an ambitious young scientist, repeatedly participating in qualitative research in medical statistics.

In her scientific work, she focuses attention on the effectiveness of rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy.

In the period from 2020 to 2022, Ulzhan Tolyshbay taught biostatistics and occupational health at the Higher Medical College. After that she was working as a leading specialist in medical statistics in the Zhambyl regional branch of the state enterprise “Republican Center for Electronic Health” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, her main activity was the collection and analysis of data.

In 2022, Ulzhan worked as a statistician at the Central Regional Hospital, and also continued her research, carefully analyzing the impact of therapy on children with cerebral palsy. Her study at the Aksai Hospital includes a detailed study of rehabilitation measures and provides a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the treatment process.

As part of her professional activities, Ulzhan Tolyshbay encounters not only pure scientific research, but also other aspects of medical statistics. For example, she has to analyze and predict trends in the development of diseases, which helps healthcare organizations respond more effectively to modern challenges, especially taking into consideration the experience of the pandemic.

Another area of focus is identifying successful treatment strategies and those that require adjustments. Ulzhan Tolyshbay’s analytical skills are focused on improving treatment outcomes and optimizing costs, which are critical issues for the healthcare system.

Study of Problems of Rehabilitation of Patients with Cerebral Palsy

Among 345 children in the United States, approximately 1 child experiences cerebral palsy. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it is one of the most common movement disorders.

Ulzhan Tolyshbay made a significant contribution to the study of the problem of cerebral palsy (CP). Her scientific research goes deeply into the roots of the problem, its common symptoms, and methods to improve cognitive performance and rehabilitation of young patients.

Ulzhan Tolyshbay’s article “Types of cerebral palsy and their features” is a compilation of current data on the factors that provoke cerebral palsy. Research conducted at the Aksai Hospital under the leadership of Ulzhan Tolyshbay sheds light on positive changes in the lives of children faced with cerebral palsy.

In terms of treatment for cerebral palsy, the study found that children who received functional physical therapy, which focused on developing functional skills, showed greater improvement than those whose physical therapy focused on normalizing movement.

This study contributed to a better understanding of the effectiveness of rehabilitation methods. The results of Ulzhan Tolyshbay’s research have the potential to change the approach to the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, introducing innovations and improving results in medical practice.

Medical Statistics: its Impact and Problems of the Modern Industry

Medical statistics have a significant impact on the efficiency and quality of health care systems in the United States and all around the world. The use of accurate data helps physicians make informed decisions, promotes innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, and provides the foundation for the development of more efficient healthcare practices.

During her work, Ulzhan Tolyshbai experienced health care systems in different countries, and therefore has more extensive knowledge of problems in the field of medical statistics. She also developed specific methods for solving them.

While large cities have the opportunity to work on modern equipment, smaller towns often do not have this opportunity. Therefore, first of all, it is worth paying attention to the introduction of more modern technologies for collecting and analyzing medical data, says Ulzhan Tolyshbay. Technological progress will speed up processes, improve accuracy, and provide faster results.

What is also worth adding to this point is the improvement of the data storage and processing system, taking into account high security standards. This will reduce the risk of leaks and unauthorized access, which is extremely important for the safety of medical information.

Another important step is the education and advanced training of specialists in the field of medical statistics. Conducting training programs and courses on the use of new data analysis methods will increase the number of qualified specialists in this field. Also, the exchange of experience between specialists from different countries will undoubtedly be useful, which is confirmed by the experience of Ulzhan Tolyshbai herself.

Her international experience and cross-cultural perspective give her a unique advantage. It can contribute to the diversification of knowledge and practices in the healthcare sector. Her approach is also more inclusive and tailored to the needs of different groups in the US population.

Thanks to her innovative methods, Ulzhan Tolyshbay intends not only to improve the field of medical statistics, but also to make this process more efficient, transparent, and focused on the needs of patients and medical institutions.
