The general director of the Tonus Group of private clinics, Olga Mikhalyova, MD, has clear objectives in setting new standards in the Russian Healthcare business.Image

In an interview with Medical Solutions, Olga Mikhalyova describes opening her own dermatology practice and how she soon came together with neighboring doctors in the Tonus Group. Today, the Tonus Group has 15 facilities in Nizhny Novgorod and the surrounding area, at which around 200 doctors work. Mikhalyova no longer practices medicine herself; instead she handles the strategic development of the clinics as the group’s general director. Tonus Group covers a large sector of healthcare from lab tests to mammography and dentistry to minimally invasive surgical interventions.

In addition, Olga Mikhalyova talks about the state of public healthcare and explains how Tonus Group invests in medical equipment to help the Nizhny Novgorod region.
