The health care industry is booming. New medical advances are made every day, and the need for health care professionals to take care of America’s aging population is skyrocketing.

People are also more appreciative of the need to take care of their health than ever, due to the pandemic. They are going to probably see their healthcare professionals more frequently to get checkups.

Demand for qualified candidates is high and the number of jobs is growing faster than projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Health services managers, nurses, physician assistants and physical therapists are among the many healthcare careers that have promising projections for the future. There are even a lot of great healthcare jobs that don’t require a degree.

Even better, doctors and nurses report above-average job satisfaction: Nineteen per cent say they would choose their profession again if given a chance, versus 12 per cent for all other health care workers surveyed.

If you want to work in the medical field, there are high earning potentials at all levels. From vocational to associate, bachelor and doctorate opportunities, you can find a program that fits your career aspirations. Depending on your level of training, your salary will change significantly.
