What do you need to do?

Put together a short video no more than 10 minutes long*, infographic with brief explanation, or an essay of no more than 1,000 words answering the following one of the following questions:

  1. Healthcare: What do you see as the best technology for improving healthcare and health IT?
  2. Mobile Security: What do you see as the most serious mobile security threat facing consumers and/or companies and why?’

Include this info:

  • First/Last Name
  • Address
  • Data of Birth
  • School you plan to attend/are currently attending

Email it all to scholarship@onlinetech.com.

The Fine Print

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18- 25 at the time of application
  • Scheduled to graduate from high school and/or continuing college in the upcoming school year
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Accepted without condition to an accredited university, college, community college or vocational technical school
  • Must become a full time student at an accredited university, college, community college or vocational technical school in the 2012-2013 academic year.
  • Must be entering a field related to IT, Computer Sciences and or Healthcare IT
  • Only those applicants who meet all the above eligibility requirements will be considered for scholarship awards

Submission/Criteria Details

*If submitting a video, please upload the video to YouTube. The link www.onlinetech.com/scholarship needs to appear in the video. Please submit the video link to scholarship@onlinetech.com.

Submissions will be accepted via email only. Selected submissions (video, infographic and essay) will be posted to the scholarship page on our website.

If selected, you will be asked to submit proof of enrollment at an accredited university, community college or vocational technical school.

Privacy Policy

For the purposes of this scholarship, Online Tech collects names, emails, birth dates and addresses of those submitting entries for scholarship consideration. The information provided by students is used for internal purposes only and will not be resold or distributed to third parties. First names will be published on the scholarship page of our website along with the student’s submission (i.e. their infographic, link to video on YouTube, or a portion of their essay.

Please send the completed application form, along with your submission, to scholarship@onlinetech.com. Only complete applications, received no later than July 8th, 2012 will be considered. Online Tech Inc. staff will review applications and recipients will be announced by August 10th 2012.
