Masimo’s recently introduced UniView system is an integrated platform of real-time data and alarms from multiple Masimo and third-party devices. It has been developed in keeping with the need for simultaneous viewing of data and its accessibility to every surgical staff from various medical devices in use in operating rooms (ORs), intensive care units (ICUs), and other areas. UniView consolidates data from different sources like ventilators, patient monitors, IV pumps, and anesthesia gas machines as well as optimizes the presentation of parameters, waveforms, and trend data with certain screen layouts for various clinical cases. The four layout views of UniView include the Overview layout, the Hemodynamics layout, the Oxygenation layout, and the Sedation layout. The Overview layout lets clinicians observe data from point-of-care and therapeutic devices.
The Hemodynamics layout helps in visualizing a patient’s status over time. The Oxygenation layout helps track a patient’s oxygenation status. The Sedation layout helps monitor a patient’s sedation. The connected devices which relay visual alarm indicators assist clinicians to identify patient distress and target areas of immediate attention.
