  • Water

You are never too young to start introducing a little anti-aging product into your beauty routine. Though you don’t have to run the full gauntlet of anti-aging, a proactive approach should prove beneficial. Here are some top anti-aging tips for you to add to your routine in 2022.

Sunscreen

Even if you live in a climate that is frequently overcast, you need to make sure that you are applying sunscreen each and every day. It is not enough to wear it just on the days where it is hot and sunny. You need the added protection sunscreen offers all year round. Sun damage can cause wrinkles and age the skin prematurely.

This is because you are not protecting across the sun itself, but instead against the intensity of the UV rays it emits. These are the dangerous rays, and the right sunscreen can block them and prevent them from causing too much damage to your skin. You need to find a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Remember to reapply it throughout the day – and find one that fits on and under your makeup without upsetting it if you wear it.

Skincare

Your skincare routine is a key part of any anti-aging regime. Make sure that you have the right products on your side and use them regularly. For example if you find a product with Vitamin C for face cleansing, make sure that you back it up with double cleanse to really make sure that any makeup or the wear and tear of the day is off your face.

Make sure that your skin is getting the right levels of moisture. Using toner and a good moisturizer will help to balance out your skin and make it a lot better. Remember that you might need something a little heavier at night, so investing in a nite cream might be a good move to make.

Water

Are you drinking enough? Believe it or not, getting enough to drink can have a big effect on your skincare. You need to make sure that you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, though more than that is always better.

Make sure that you are also drinking as pure water as you can. Getting your water through tea, coffee, or soft drinks is not going to give any benefits to you. While you can add flavorings to your water to make it more tasteful, don’t miss out on what something as simple as water can do. Hydrated skin will be refreshed, and you should hopefully see an improvement to its elasticity, helping to prevent wrinkles.

These are three anti-aging tips that we all need to pay attention to in 2022. If you want to put a proactive anti-aging routine in place, tackling your skincare routine, sunscreen usage, and water intake will always be the best three places to start. Make some changes and you should have plenty of help to be proactive in preventing signs of aging in your skin.
