FDA Approves a New Laser System For Removing Tattoos–PicoSure

This is good news for those who decide later they don’t want their tattoo any longer or grow tired of it.  The company has all types of other aesthetic products related to plastic surgery and body sculpting as well.  The statistics on the page say that the number of tattoo removals is expected t grow to over 60,000.

Westford-based Cynosure Inc. said today is has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market a new laser system for removing tattoos and certain lesions.

The company said it expects to initially sell the PicoSure system through its U.S. direct sales force to aesthetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons starting early next year.
