There are a lot of ways for people to learn about health and wellness nowadays. They can read books, watch documentaries, and read content on websites and blogs. Although these methods can be effective, there is no better way to learn about health and wellness than to experience it first-hand.

That?s what makes health and wellness expos so powerful for attendees, but it?s also what makes them so powerful for businesses!

Participating in a health and wellness expo is a great way to connect with local customers and clients who may not know your business exists until they attend. However, that doesn?t mean people are guaranteed to walk into your booth to learn more.

If you want to promote your business to the fullest at your next health and wellness expo, make sure you follow these tips.

Decorate to Impress

The very best way to attract attention to your booth is to make sure it?s decorated to get attention. The more creative you can be, the better, but at the very least, make sure there?s no way expo attendees can miss your business?s name.

One of the best ways to do that is with a custom canopy tent with your logo. It gives your business?s image height, and it can differentiate your booth from the booths of your neighbors.

That?s not all! Other decorating ideas include:

  • Feather flags
  • Balloons
  • Banners and signs
  • Inflatable items
  • Projected images

Fit the Theme

Many health and wellness expos have a theme. Make sure you match your booth to that theme if there is one! Whether it?s superheroes, rock and roll, or sports, know the theme and think of ways you can incorporate that theme into your booth?s decorations, handouts, and other items.

No theme at the expo? Come up with your own! Consider the common health issues facing local residents and come up with a fun theme that matches your business. For example, integrate music with a Rockin? Walkin? theme, or support mental health with a theme from the movie Inside Out.

Hand out Free Samples

Everybody loves free things! Not to mention, it really is the best way to show off your products. Free things can be especially effective at a health and wellness expo because many businesses sell health bars, protein mixtures, and other products that can easily be packaged in single-serving containers.

Include your samples in trade show bags, hand them out directly, and pass out coupons for full-sized versions of the samples you?re handing out. If you do, you?re sure to get a lot more business in the coming weeks as people give your products a try.

Provide a Free Health or Wellness Service

People love free things, but they love free services too! A free service has the ability to set your booth apart from others. After all, trade show attendees expect goodie bags and free stuff. They don?t necessarily expect a free service.

Set up a massage chair and offer free massages. Use technology to help attendees discover spinal challenges if you?re a chiropractor or dietary challenges if you?re a dietician.

The more you can promote the free services you?re offering, the more likely people will be to stop into your booth and give it a try. The more unique, relaxing, or innovative, the better!

Partner with Other Companies

Attending a health and wellness expo can be intimidating. It can feel like you?re competing face-to-face with other booths, but that doesn?t have to be the case. You can actually enjoy many benefits when you team up with other companies attending the same trade show.

A few benefits include:

  • The ability to advertise together
  • You can share trade show booth space
  • You can co-brand promotional products
  • You can offer referrals to each other

By passing out items for other businesses, they in turn will pass out items for your business, which means you?ll be able to reach customers and clients who don?t visit your booth. You can make a bigger impact by sharing a trade show booth space, and you can create new products that feature both company?s names. Just make sure you work with companies that complement yours for the biggest impact.

Don?t get left behind at the next health and wellness expo! Make sure everyone wants to stop by your booth with these tips. Choose the ones that work the best for your business and you can expect greater success in the coming weeks, months, and years.
