Fatigue from lack of sleep can cause irritability, lack of focus, anxiety, and even depression. Whether you suffer from occasional sleeplessness or acute insomnia, there are things that you can do to help you get better rest.

Busy schedules, high-pressure careers, and taking care of your family all place pressures on you that can be tough to leave behind at the end of your day. Setting a bedtime routine can help your body and mind recognize specific signals that it is time to sleep. Start with establishing a consistent bedtime and try to stick to it.
