NC Doctors' Day: Thank Your Local MD - Health Works Collective

National Doctors Day is an annual event celebrating physician held every March 30th. The North Carolina Medical Society instituted an online program that welcomed patients’ participation to honor physicians statewide. I spoke with Pam Highsmith, Director of Development at the NCMS about the awards, the nominees and how North Carolinians can vote in the program.

The award had three criteria:

Passionate about keeping patients happy and healthy.
Experts in using life-changing treatments to give patients the best care.
And making a positive impact in the community
