Southern California Hospital Offers Appointments for the Emergency Room for $15.00 for Non Emergency Visits-InQuickER
This could certainly be popular and something that might spread as to why wait at the ER room if you can reserve a spot. If you are not seen within 15 minutes of your appointment time, then you get your $15.00 back. The service is called InQuickER and it is done online. You can’t schedule days in advance though as it is limited to 90 minutes to 2 hours ahead of an arrival time, still pretty good. This is being done to cut down on over crowding at the ER room. This is a service that is actually available for any hospital to sign up for and if you choose another location you can see the hospitals listed for each state. I checked and found 2 other hospitals in my area that are doing it was well in Orange County. I’ll have to remember this in case I ever need to make use of it. BD
LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) — Instead of showing up at the emergency room and risking a wait, why not make a reservation? Lakewood Regional Medical Center announced on Thursday that you can do just that. Patients with non-emergency conditions can make an appointment for 90 minutes to 2 hours in advance using InQuickER, which can be accessed online at www.LakewoodER.com.
