Previously, we listened to Conor O’Byrne talk about RelateCare and how they help reduce re-admissions.  Today, we have Scott Zimmerman here from Televox to talk further about patient engagement and provider/patient communications.

Televox is a high-tech engagement communications company that provides automated voice, email, SMS and web solutions to motivate patients to take care of their own health.  Televox offers appointment reminders, wellness and prevention reminders and other services that engage patients and lower costs for them and their patients.

Scott Zimmerman has a background in the healthcare business and has held a number of leadership positions.  He is a regularly published authority on using software to engage and motivate patients.
