So, what are you doing to think differently? The healthcare world has expanded from traditional hospitals, health systems and independent physicians practices to enhanced urgent care centers, and most recently, Wal-Mart.

An interesting Thomson Reuters survey of Top 100 Hospitals from August (which I highly recommend you take a look at) found that one of the biggest challenges that hospital CEOs face is change (mainly due to competitors and healthcare reform).

So, how do you evolve in today’s market among the intense competition in healthcare marketing?

A recent article on the 4 Healthcare Marketing Must-Do’s for CEO’s provides the following recommendations:

  1. Understand Your Hospital’s Competitive Competition
  2. Explain the Mission Statement to Stakeholders
  3. Collaborate with Your Counselors, Managers and Staff
  4. Share In the Marketing Responsibility
