Chronic hip pain is something that millions of people deal with every day. Causes include hip fractures, arthritis, infections and tendinitis. Although it is painful and as many as 50% of people with hip pain never return to their full level of activity, sufferers can find comfort through hip replacement surgery.

Although it is painful and as many as 50% of people with hip pain never return to their full level of activity, sufferers can find comfort through hip replacement surgery.

That’s exactly what Antoinette Thomas did to cure her hip pain. While attending a free hip screening with Paul Khanuja, M.D., at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, she decided to try total hip replacement surgery.
