All Social Media platforms bring with them new data streams, based around the multiple of users and their activities. But not all platforms generate accessible data. Up until now — and that may change — Twitter has generated a wealth of data. At Doctors 2.0 & You, we have been committed to Twitter as a tool to facilitate commentary and exchange in the conference room(s) and between people on site and those at a distance. There was no doubt that Twitter was the right choice from the outset and it remains the case.

Audun Utengen and Thomas Lee of Symplur, partners of Doctors 2.0 & You, developed the lovely infographic you see on the side.

  • 4999 tweets were analyzed!
  • We know which were the main languages used by Tweeps,
  • which Tweeps were the main influencers each day and at what time,
  • and which second hashtags were associated to #doctors20
