A few weeks ago I published a brief essay on HealthWorks Collective about the just-in-time health information trend.  I talked about how a day is coming where people won’t have to use search engines like Google to search for health information.  Instead, highly personalized, customized and relevant health content will come to them automatically. 

A few weeks ago I published a brief essay on HealthWorks Collective about the just-in-time health information trend.  I talked about how a day is coming where people won’t have to use search engines like Google to search for health information.  Instead, highly personalized, customized and relevant health content will come to them automatically. 

Interestingly, this topic is even more timely due to an article published recently in the New York Times about a new breed of mobile applications (such as Google Now) that can anticipate users’ needs and eliminate the need for search.

To further explain the just-in-time health information revolution we recently published a slide presentation on this topic.  It features commentary from a couple of firms building the just-in-time future, including Scanadu, which just smashed its crowdfunding goal and looks poised to help bring quantified self into the mainstream.  Scanadu is working to leverage a range of biometric data to deliver personalized content to users of its devices in real-time.
