Triathlon is a sport consisting of swimming, cycling, and running; there are no breaks between matches, and the winner is the one who spends the least amount of time in all three matches. It is a great sport that around 4 million people participate in every year. Indeed, greater physical activity can help solve many health problems, so if you agree with that, why aren’t you training for the triathlon yet? Here are some examples of how training for the triathlon helped me feel and look better.

Swimming

We pointed out before that water sports are great for your physical and mental health. You should recognize that swimming is a great way to get used to playing sports, have an active and fun time, and effectively lose weight. This is one of the best ways to improve body tone and well-being. During swimming, all of your muscles are used , especially the muscles of the thighs, hips, abdomen, and buttocks. Your heart will be activated, and blood, metabolism, and oxygen absorption are improved. Regular training strengthens the immune system and increases resistance to diseases. Personally, movement in water helps keep the body firm, increases skin elasticity, and helps fight fatigue and bad mood. If we compare swimming with many other popular sports, it also has the advantage of minimizing the risk of injury.

Running

Running has a lot of advantages. First of all, your body will be more beautiful, your well-being will improve, and you will feel much better. This type of exercise can strengthen your heart muscles. Of course, the most important thing is to do everything in moderation and at the same time increase physical activity gradually. Running helps you burn more calories than other physical activities, they are a great choice for those who want to lose weight. Many people even run during the winter to stay healthy.

It is recommended to start with walking and only then, after losing weight, increase the regime. Running is also useful for people with knee problems. It’s a pretty common myth that running is not for you when you have joint problems. That is not true. Doctors even recommend running. But the most important thing is to do it right. Recent studies show that running can also reduce the risk of chronic diseases when you age. If you are afraid that diseases may be your future, in this case, it is useful to start running regularly.

Cycling

Studies have shown that regular cycling can reduce the risk of heart disease. Human lungs work much more actively. In this way, your ability to normalize breathing becomes better trained. A person becomes resistant, which helps to overcome more physical loads with less effort.

Cycling is a great alternative for people struggling with being overweight. In this way, the spine and legs are less tired during sports, unlike when using various exercise machines in a sports club. Unnecessary calories are burned, the body tightens and its shape becomes more beautiful. Regular cycling protects the skin from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays and reduces skin aging. It also reduces the risk of premature death by 41%. It also improves blood circulation and metabolism. Cycling has an anti-aging effect. Toxins are removed and collagen is produced, which helps prevent wrinkles and accelerate the healing process. This activity allows you to speed up digestion and maximize the absorption of all nutrients.

Bottom line

Swimming, cycling, and running can increase metabolism in our bodies, help us lose weight, and prevent us from obesity. Due to movements, our muscles are strengthened, and blood circulation and immune system are enhanced. Sports also have an anti-aging effect: healing processes are accelerating; skin elasticity is increasing. With good muscle and body shape, you look more beautiful and healthier. Triathlon is a sport that requires a lot of endurance and versatility, in which proper nutrition and the ability to properly add energy reserves are of particular importance. It is also recommended to take anti-aging NMN supplements in your diet.
