Another app is ALowGIDiet, offering instructions on certain types of diets. For example a type 1 diabetic who recently started a Low Glycemic Index (GI) diet may use the app to regulate blood sugar levels. You simply enter the name of the food in the app and it tells you whether it has a low, medium or high GI. This app costs $2.99 in the Apple App Store.
