What is a yeast allergy? Yeast is a kind of fungus that is widely used for baking goods and to prepare certain kinds of alcoholic beverages like beer. Yeast allergy is caused due to an allergic reaction that is produced by the body upon consuming certain kinds of fermented foods that involve yeast items like bakery items and beer. It is also characterized by abdominal discomfort, dizziness, swelling, congestion, pain in the joints, breathlessness, pain in the body and changes in mood.

Symptoms of Yeast Allergy

When you consume food that contains yeast, there are chances that you might face the following symptoms:

  • Congestion
  • Chronic constipation
  • Stomach Pain and Acidity
  • Indigestion
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhea i.e. loose motion
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Ear and respiratory symptoms
  • Menstrual problems
  • Unexpected weight gain
  • Psoriasis and hives

In the rarest cases, the patient might also experience the following symptoms:

Skin Rashes 

Skin rash is a chronic skin disease that causes redness and itchiness in the skin. Usually, it can be seen as a small patch on the foot, arms, hand and other areas of the body.

Anaphylactic Shock 

Although skin rashes are common, anaphylactic shock is not. It is a very dangerous reaction inside the body that could be life-threatening. If one suffers from anaphylactic shock then the person can also suffer from respiratory problems, falling blood pressure and inflammation of the throat. Here are a few herbal remedies for yeast allergy symptoms that you might want to try.

Probiotics

It helps to restore the natural gut flora that can prevent fungal infections.

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil has great anti-fungal properties that can fight yeast allergy. Raw organic coconut oil can be used externally and internally to soothe the symptoms of yeast allergy. It one of the best herbal remedies for yeast allergies. If you heat the coconut oil it can also help to provide relief from the fungal infections. You can also use oregano and tea tree oil to provide yourself relief from the fungal infection.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

A dish prepared from apple cider vinegar can help to soothe a yeast infection. Try consuming at least 3 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar mixed in with 1 quart of water.

Organic Garlic

Garlic’s natural anti-fungal properties are well worth reaping the benefits from. Eat several fresh garlic cloves each day to enjoy these perks.

Organic Cranberry Juice

You can drink organic and unsweetened cranberry juice that will help you to restore a healthy pH balance.

Organic Yogurt 

It can help to reduce a yeast infection. Choose organic plain yogurt with no added sugar, fruits, or other ingredients that can help calm the symptoms of yeast allergy.

Garlic

It is known for its anti-fungal and antibiotic properties.

Wear Loose Clothing

You must wear loose-fitting clothing that can help to keep the oxygen moving. It can also help stop fungus from growing.

Take the best possible diet and exercise daily

Take a diet rich in nuts, seeds, vegetables, healthy oils that are organic and are of free-range, also you must avoid the intake of sugars and foods that are high on carbohydrates. It will help to restrict the amount of fuel that is in your intestine. Ideally, you should make your diet in tune with the nutritional type.

Because yeast can multiply very quickly, so it is important that you not only restrict the intake of sugar but also restrict some carbs from your diet and some mold-containing foods like;

  • Vinegar (Avoid vinegar containing foods like salad dressing and mustard)
  • Bread
  • Beets, carrots, and potatoes (High-sugar veggies)
  • Corn and peanuts (which can also contain mold)
  • Mushrooms(fungus)
  • Aged Cheese
  • Address emotional and physiological
