The Obama administration continued its promotional campaign for healthcare reform ahead of the launch of insurance exchanges via Twitter this week. After the above update was sent from the president’s account, #WhatObamacareMeansToMe became a trending topic, but it seemed to generate more spite than support.

Some supporters did come out to play (and sling some mud) too.

Twitter is good for a lot of things, but a glance at this stream shows that having intelligent conversation about politics is not one of them.

This guy gets it, though.
