It’s been weeks now. You have been sticking to a new diet. Exercising day in and day out. You’re waiting for the fat to dissolve and unveil the new you. You’ve been doing things the right way. Despite eating right and exercising right, sometimes no matter how hard we try, there is no easy way to lose stubborn belly fat.

A moderate amount of stored fat is good for the body because it protects the internal organs, and helps keep the body warm. However, excess visceral fat can lead to potential health risks such as heart disease or diabetes. Women have a genetic disposition to accumulate more body fat in comparison to men to cope with the demands of pregnancy and nursing children. In order to stay healthy, women require a minimum of 10 percent body fat. On the other hand, men can afford to cut their overall body fat content down to 2 percent.

While crash diets do give fast and encouraging results in the short term, they pose potential health risks when you continue with them for prolonged periods. Potential risks of such diets include dehydration, lower metabolic rates, fluctuating blood pressure levels, hormonal imbalances, reduced immunity as well endocrine abnormalities.

No-exercise, No-diet Methods of Fat Loss

  1. SculpSure

This is a laser-based treatment. This medical device has received FDA clearances for use in fat-reduction procedures. In a process called apoptosis, the energy released by the laser beam gently heats the subcutaneous fat cells. The fat cells begin to break down under high heat. The damaged fat cells are then flushed out naturally over the course of a few weeks.

According to an article on Ensoul Body Medical Clinic, aside from targeting fat cells, this laser treatment also reduces skin laxity. During the treatment, it also stimulates collagen production which firms and tightens up the skin. SculpSure is especially suitable for women suffering from post-pregnancy skin laxity. It also works for those who have just gone through a massive weight loss.

  1. CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is the brand name for a fat-freezing method that aims to get rid of stubborn fat in certain parts of your body. In this FDA-approved fat-freezing procedure, subzero temperatures as cold as –13°C are deployed to kill the targeted fat cells by crystallizing the fat cells, without causing damage to the surrounding skin and tissues.

The skin on the targeted area is first sucked up by a suction device. Thereafter, the cold temperatures are applied to the underlying fat cells. After sufficient exposure of about 35 minutes, the fat cells freeze to death.

CoolSculpting has a range of applicators specifically designed to be used in this fat freezing procedure, making it easy for reducing fat in typical fat accumulation areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and hips.

For instance, the CoolFit Advantage’s new cup design is ideal for removing stubborn fat deposits along the inner thighs. Similarly, the CoolCore Advantage applicator is a popular choice to get rid of belly fat.

3. Processed foods

If you’d like to shed stubborn belly tummy fat, you must cut down on processed foods. While packaged foods may be high in calories, they also increase inflammation, which is a major factor in belly fat.

Cording recommends focusing on whole foods and cutting out simple carbs. Instead, eat more lean proteins and eat fewer processed foods. By doing so, you will burn more fat.

4. Diet soda

Drinking a diet soda can actually add weight to your body, so avoiding soda is a great way to lose stubborn belly fat. Instead, consider other healthier beverages such as milk, water, or fresh juice.

You can add a slice of lemon or cucumber to your water if you want a refreshing taste. And, if you really need caffeine, try tea or coffee instead of soda. These two beverages are low in calories and contain very little sugar.

5. Anti-inflammatory foods

A diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods will help you reduce inflammation and consequently, stubborn belly & tummy fat. Eat all types of fruits and vegetables in profusion and preferably in their season.

These foods have high fiber content and can control insulin response, which is a primary cause of chronic inflammation. Include wholegrain cereals in your diet, too. They help in reducing body fat and contain omega-3 fatty acids.

6. Calorie deficit

How to lose stubborn belly and tummy fat through calorie deficit is a method to burn body fat through a caloric intake that is lower than the amount of energy expended. This strategy involves avoiding foods high in fat and sugar and replacing them with nutritious and low-calorie alternatives.

One of the primary culprits of weight gain is excess sugar, which promotes inflammation and insulin resistance. Also, beverages contain hidden sugar, so make sure you know the amount of sugar in them before you start drinking them.

7. Drinking water with lemon

If you are struggling to lose belly and tummy fat, you can try drinking lemon water. Lemon is an excellent hydrating agent, packed with pectin fiber and antioxidants.

It can be consumed before or after meals to boost your metabolism and melt the unwanted fat from your stomach. This method also helps in reducing bloating. So, if you have been struggling to lose stubborn belly and tummy fat, try this simple trick.

8. Drinking green tea

Among the many benefits of drinking green tea is the loss of belly and tummy fat. It contains polyphenols and flavonoids that boost the body’s immune system and fight against inflammatory diseases.

Regular consumption of green tea also helps regulate cholesterol levels and boost metabolism, all of which contribute to weight loss. While it may not burn the entire fat in your body, it will certainly help you lose stubborn belly and tummy fat.

9. Drinking green tea with squeezed lemon

Green tea with lemon and ginger adds more benefits to your daily diet. The tea contains caffeine and flavonoids, two important nutrients that boost your metabolism.

Moreover, the tea’s flavor does not add many calories. Moreover, lemon and ginger can also be found in the market. Hence, they are a delicious way to get rid of stubborn belly & tummy fat.
